A comment on Experts Descend Upon ConAgra Plant in Garner, NC

"the family would be entitled to full compensation for their losses". And of course, the attorneys would take 40-50%.

I note YOU are an attorney.

The focus should be the mourning, followed by making sure it can never happen again...anywhere!

I'm appauled that you would write such things having absolutely no knowledge of the situation and casting doubt on the employer. Having owned a business in Garner for many years I know that ConAgra has been a good employer to their work-force and a great corporate citizen. You could obviously care less about the pain and suffering that the folks at ConAgra are going through. I hope your children don't ever read the things that you're writing here.

A comment on In April of 1998 North Carolina State Bar Issued a Letter of Caution to Allstate

JS, what's not factual about Brent Adams' post above? He's just reciting exactly what happened to Allstate in North Carolina.. no mistruth there.

What's interesting is that Allstate is now trying to censor this blog by asking the North Carolina state bar to somehow get Mr. Adams to remove this post.

Why don't they just "engage in the conversation" rather than run like a kid who's had his nose bloodied?

A comment on In April of 1998 North Carolina State Bar Issued a Letter of Caution to Allstate

We saw these letters in Minnesota a couple of years ago. There was no state action, but they did look into it. While good faith requirements can help, it is clear that these letters provide legal advise and are intended to reduce claims. The information that Allstate finally disclosed after many court orders across the country, disclosed a well organized attack on the unrepresented. JS, your right, we are a group of lawyers , but not sure why you go right on the attack in response. There is a reason Allstate wanted to cut people off from attorneys.
