A comment on In April of 1998 North Carolina State Bar Issued a Letter of Caution to Allstate

JS, what's not factual about Brent Adams' post above? He's just reciting exactly what happened to Allstate in North Carolina.. no mistruth there.<br /><br />What's interesting is that Allstate is now trying to censor this blog by asking the North Carolina state bar to somehow get Mr. Adams to remove this post. <br /><br />Why don't they just "engage in the conversation" rather than run like a kid who's had his nose bloodied?

A comment on In April of 1998 North Carolina State Bar Issued a Letter of Caution to Allstate

We saw these letters in Minnesota a couple of years ago. There was no state action, but they did look into it. While good faith requirements can help, it is clear that these letters provide legal advise and are intended to reduce claims. The information that Allstate finally disclosed after many court orders across the country, disclosed a well organized attack on the unrepresented. JS, your right, we are a group of lawyers , but not sure why you go right on the attack in response. There is a reason Allstate wanted to cut people off from attorneys.

A comment on In April of 1998 North Carolina State Bar Issued a Letter of Caution to Allstate

The argument seems logical to me. Insurance companies are in business to make money, just like everybody else. The less they pay out, the more money in their pockets. If an insurance company did not take that position, they would be out of business (and sued by investors).

Oh never mind, I see that how your opinion would be slanted - you all are attorneys trying to get more business by stating factual mis-truths. Insurance companies should sue you all for libel.

"The law requires that the adjuster protect the interest of the stockholder, not yours." --- Are you kidding me- have you ever heard of bad faith claim handling? Obviously not, or you would have never posted this comment. Insurance companies do NOT take this position.

A comment on You Are Not In Good Hands With Allstate

America is in trouble. Trial attorneys have taken over this country. Take for example Bruce Almighty the governor of FL. He says yes to every interest group. If you asked him if you could win the lottery he would sign the bill. I cant wait until John McCain picks him to be VP so he can leave Florida with a Trial Attorney as the new governor. They will succeed in ruining a great state and Bruce Almighty will finish of America.
